Schlosskranz (German for <i>Castle Wreath</i>) is made by the Marin Cheese Company, located just north of San Francisco. Since 1865, Marin Cheese has been a leader in the domestic cheese industry. Traditionally made in a large wheel that is shaped like a wreath, this cheese is bold, aromatic and pungeant. Our Schlosskranz comes to us in a smaller, easier to enjoy six ounce sqaure. Schlosskranz, the successor to Liederkranz, is a smear-ripened, washed-rind cheese. Enjoy this true American original served with hearty breads and ales.<ul><li>Made from pasteurized cow's milk.</li>
